A medical condition in which the accumulation of excess body weight to the extent that it may have a negative effect on health is known as obesity. People are generally considered as suffering from obesity when their body mass index (BMI), a measurement obtained by dividing a person’s weight by the square of the person’s height, is over 30 kg/m^2, defined as overweight. Some other countries may use lower BMI values. Obesity increases the probability of various health problems, that are particularly cardiovascular diseases, two types of diabetes, obstructive sleep issues, certain types of cancer, osteoarthritis and depression, and other health problems.
The most common cause of obesity is the combination of intake of excessive food, lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility. Some of the cases are caused primarily due to genes, endocrine disorders, medications or some types of mental disorders. The point that obese people eat little, yet yield weight due to slow metabolism is not generally considered right. Obese people have greater amount of energy expenditure due to the energy required to maintain the increased body mass.

Boil 150gms of water and then let it cool. As it turns lukewarm, add 15gms of lemon juice and 15gms (two teaspoon) of honey. Drink this mixture at once. It also cures stomach diseases.Take this ayurvedic medicine for obesity early morning on an empty stomach regularly for one to two months.
